ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Mallory Penney.
I’m a coach and facilitator based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
My background in improv is what sets me apart. My coaching sessions are supportive and fun, and offer outside-the-box approaches that empower you to greet old and new challenges head on. I will help you identify areas you want to grow in and partner with you to achieve results.
I have been in the learning and development space for 8 years in a variety of roles including facilitation, coaching, curriculum design, and program development. My experience spans from one-to-one coaching to facilitating leadership development programs for groups of up to 600 participants. I have worked with thousands of leaders in person and virtually all over the globe to help them transform their leadership and impact.
My leadership development workshops are rooted in behavioral science and applied improvisation and give participants practical tools they can use right away and a space to practice them. I am passionate about creating engaging, practical learning experiences that spark conversation and opportunities for peer learning.
Some of my favorite workshop topics include: psychological safety, navigating challenging conversations, influencing leaders and teams, managing team dynamics, and communicating effectively. I love talking about unique motivations and values individuals have, and how to leverage this to manage each individual on the team without using a one-size-fits-all approach.
